Chris, Thanks for your comment. Yes, if you pay by the hour, it makes sense to get in your money's worth. Here, it's a day pass for as many runs as you want.

I was paddling at Lea Valley yesterday and discussed this very issue. We had travelled a long way (well for us anyways) and wanted to get best use of the water time as you pay by the hour. You do miss out on seeing lines and lines of others when you try and do everything from the water.
The conveyor belts also sometimes also remove the in built rest period when walking back up the course, yesterday the course was very quiet so it was tempting to do run after run after run. I gave into temptation.
Just because it can be done does not mean its a good idea. But it was fun nonetheless.
